Two cameramen, with over twenty years’ of filming between them, approached my team and I with the remit of helping to name and brand their new venture.
By combining their unique film experience with a passion for drone technology, the business was able to offer production companies a much more cost-effective way of capturing aerial footage – giving them the edge against both other camera crews and drone hobbyists.
We knew that the team needed to convey their business proposition quickly and with confidence. After some discussion, we landed on the name ‘Verticam’ and used a simple up-arrow down-arrow device within the logo to further hint at the brand’s offering.
We helped kit out the brand with some simple graphic devices and a single-page website that put their incredible showreel at the front-and-centre of what they do.
