Great design makes a difference. It can change behaviours, it can move the needle and it can shape how people experience things. But it’s a busy, noisy world – and in order to cut through, your creative has to be remarkable.

I’m Steve. I’m a multi-disciplinary designer with over 15 years’ experience across graphic design, digital design, art-direction and brand identity design. During that time, I’ve worked across agency and in-house design roles, contributing to the creative output of brands of all sizes and from a wide variety of sectors.

I believe in active decision-making. Every decision (be it a strategic direction or a tactical detail) needs to be consciously made, rather than defaulted to. This approach requires insights gleaned from speaking to people directly involved with your brand (both internally and externally). These insights provide a foundational truth which you can then evaluate your options against, before making an active decision.


Throughout my career — spanning both in-house and agency-side positions — I’ve helped organisations define their brand strategies and craft their brand identities. I’ve designed concepts for show-stopping creative campaigns and brought them to life through high quality artwork and production. And I’ve helped businesses to build effective, efficient, in-house creative teams that deliver high quality work across the board.
